Rebuilding with Intention: A Practical Review of Your Organizational Structure

When you are running a small business, it is easy to become so focused on customers, deadlines, bookkeeping, marketing, and getting through the week that you rarely have time to step back and look at the business as a whole.

This hands-on, 3-hour workshop gives you that time.

Optional:

***Carolyn will be available after the session to provide one-on-one guidance until 2:30pm.

Light Lunch will be provided.

Hosted by Prince Albert & District Community Futures during Small Business Week and facilitated by Carolyn Carleton, Organizational Strategist, this workshop will guide you through a practical review of your business.

Entrepreneurs with Disability Clients and PACF Clients may apply to PACF to have a portion of their FEE reimbursed upon confirmation of payment and attendance to the session.

What Is Working? What Is Not? What Needs to Change?

Throughout the workshop, you will examine the different areas that contribute to a healthy and sustainable small business, including:

Business structure and operations
Roles and responsibilities
Systems and processes
Marketing and communications
Customers and opportunities
Financial sustainability
Time and capacity
Priorities and future direction

You will identify what is already working well and should be strengthened, where your business may be experiencing gaps or inefficiencies, and what changes could have the greatest positive impact.

This Is a Working Session

This workshop is designed to be practical.

Using guided exercises and a workbook, you will apply what you are learning directly to your own business. Rather than leaving with a list of ideas, you will develop priorities and create a realistic 90-day action plan for your business.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs at different stages of business. Whether you have been operating for one year or twenty, it can be valuable to periodically step back, reassess, and make sure the way you are operating still supports where you want to go.

About the Facilitator

Carolyn Carleton is an Organizational Strategist who works with businesses and organizations to bring clarity to complex challenges, strengthen internal structures, improve communication, and create practical strategies for moving forward.

Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical implementation, helping business owners move beyond identifying problems to determining what they can realistically change.

Give yourself three focused hours away from the daily demands of running your business.

Step back. Take a closer look. Decide what needs to change. Then build a plan to move forward.

This workshop is generously subsidized by Prince Albert & District Community Futures and the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program, helping to make practical business development and strategic planning resources more accessible to local entrepreneurs and small business owners.
