Darcy Nolte is recently retired from Southeast College and calls Weyburn home. Golfing, working in the yard and other summer activities are some of his pastimes.
Growing up on a farm in southwest Alberta and then working in the oil and gas industry until 2017 in various operational and managerial roles Darcy was fortunate to have learned that an entrepreneurial mindset is what keeps our communities vibrant and evolving, southeast Saskatchewan exemplifies this like no other. He says "My time at Southeast College further made this apparent as I was fortunate to have worked with numerous communities in this region and the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well everywhere."
"Having lived and worked in numerous locations in Alberta, B.C. and since 2010 in southeast Saskatchewan I can say that the resiliency of industry and business in southeast Saskatchewan always amazes and impresses. The drive to succeed, no matter what is the key to the success of our business community. Being part of Community Futures Sunrise is an honor and it is my privilege to be able to have a small part in helping new and existing small businesses succeed and grow."
Welcome to Community Futures Darcy!
