Digital Commerce Program Coordinator

Term Position

Community Futures Sunrise is a non-profit regional economic development organization, operating in southeast Saskatchewan.  With a mission to provide business development services in the region, the corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic professional for the newly created position of Digital Commerce Program Coordinator.  This individual will ideally be based in the southeast Saskatchewan region and will be involved with projects that encourage digital commerce integration by the business community in southeast Saskatchewan.

The Digital Commerce Program Coordinator will be responsible to facilitate projects under the direction of the Community Futures Sunrise General Manager. 

Duties:

  • Actively communicate with the business community in the region, assessing their individual digital commerce needs and opportunities for business growth
  • Evaluate digital commerce solutions and coordinate the integration of these programs into business’ operations in the region,
  • Supervise the digital service team and coordinate all steps to achieve digital commerce goals for business clients
  • Track and report on Program progress at scheduled milestones
  • Deliver presentations and prepare written reports
  • Design promotional materials, contribute to the social media presence and marketing efforts of the corporation
  • Collaborate with the CF Sunrise team to support small business in southeast Saskatchewan

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the digital commerce industry – must be able to match business needs to digital commerce solutions
  • Ability to take initiative to research new solutions and try new approaches
  • Ability to coordinate projects, prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Strong marketing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of private and public sector representatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Post Secondary Education in a related field
  • Experience with program coordination
  • Education or experience with digital commerce solutions
  • Current or past small business ownership experience is an asset
  • Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s Licence

This is a two-year term position.  Salary will commensurate with education and experience. An attractive benefits package is available.
