At Community Futures Sunrise, we offer flexible lending criteria, evaluating each loan application on its own merit. Generally, businesses must be physically located within our region and the majority of employment created must also be within our region.
Micro Loans of up to $25,000
Micro Loans provide low-interest, flexible financing solutions for entrepreneurs in Southeast Saskatchewan. With an understanding of economic challenges facing entrepreneurs, we offer quick and simple online access to financing for startup, working capital or expansion needs.
- Interest rate of prime + 2%
- No principal payments for six months
- No application fee
- Three-year repayment term with no penalty for early payout
- One-time administration fee of 2% (can be added to the loan amount)
- Eligibility Requirements: Funds must be used to start, buy, maintain, or expand a business in the CF Sunrise region
- Funds cannot be used to prepay or refinance existing debt
- The business must demonstrate viability
- Biz Start is for new businesses (in operation for one year or less)
- Biz Boost is for existing businesses
- A complete loan application must be submitted
