YouthBiz Announces 2025 Competition Winners Across Southeast Saskatchewan
Winners of this year’s YouthBiz competition have been announced, with a total of $3,300 in sponsored cash prizes awarded to students across southeast Saskatchewan. The prizes recognize innovative business ideas, strong financial literacy skills, and creativity demonstrated through business planning and marketing.
The annual contest is open to students in Grades 6 through 12 enrolled in traditional, home-school, and alternative education programs. This year, 275 students participated, representing 19 educational programs across 12 communities throughout the region.

“Once again, we’ve seen an incredible response to this long-running youth business contest,” said Andria Brady, General Manager of Community Futures Sunrise. “These young entrepreneurs put significant effort into developing their business ideas, building skills, and exploring entrepreneurship. The ongoing support from educators plays a huge role in the success we see each year.”
Now in its 19th year, YouthBiz has introduced more than 4,000 students in southeast Saskatchewan to the fundamentals of small business and entrepreneurship, awarding over $40,000 in cash prizes since the program began.
