This year, one of the winner's for the 2014 Community Beautification Program was Gull Lake Elks Club. Their project was to redo the outside of the hall. The hall is used by all local people of the town and different orginizations and clubs.

Local volunteers came out and started by stripping the old paint away, cleaning the outside building and prepping it to paint. Equipment was donated to be used to help reach the entire building. The color of the building was put to a vote for all the people to vote on and decide which color they wanted the hall to be. Once a decision was made, the hall was painted. In future, a sign will be added to the hall which is being made by a local volunteer.

Community Future Southwest was proud to support such a worthwhile cause. We gave $2000.00 towards the project. The Town of Gull Lake should be proud of the work they have done. Also, special mention to the work they have completed in regards to the Communities in Bloom program as well.

The town is looking beautiful, great job!!
