For the 2015 Community Beautification Program, we recieved an application from Wayne Christopher. He had taken on the project of redoing the community hall in Braddock. Wayne would be doing all the work himself and much of the cost of the materials would be coming out of his pocket. We drove out to help him paint last year and see the work in progress. At that time, the work that was done amazed us. Wayne Christopher was among the numerous winners for the 2016 Community Beautification Program. This year, we drove out to the community hall again to see the progress. Again, we are amazed!! The work he has done on the outside of the building is incredible. He has plans for adding bathrooms maybe next year. He has started work on the inside of the place as well. Adding a working kitchen is among one of the many plans for the hall. There has been a Harvest Stomp there the last 2 years now. Talking with Wayne today, sounds like the Stomp is a huge success. Both years have had around 150 people attend the night of music, food and good times. The 3rd Annual Harvest Stomp will take place in October.

The community Hall is a must see!! The work done on the once rundown hall is beyond words!! Hopefully the pictures will do it justice!!
