The 2014 Community Beautification Program has wrapped up for another year. We consider it another successful year. We recieved 13 applications for grant money from 12 wonderful communities. We were able to fund 13 projects this year!! The grand total we put towards this program this year was a wopping $15,050.00.
We are so excited to start summer off with 13 road trips booked to help with 13 projects. We had some real good projects this year again and there will be some very happy communities when they are done. We will be posting pictures of the volunteer work bees we attend, finish projects and of course, the cheque presentations. Stay tuned to see the work being done from these communities. Keep in mind for next year's program what to apply for and how we can help beautify your community. Those winning communities can apply more than once as well, some projects are just that big that we don't put a limit to the project!
