Val Marie was one of the 2013 Community Beautification Winners and their project was recently completed. Val Marie had 3 welcome signs made for each of the entrances into the village. The signs match the same theme and writing as the website the recently designed, and are a beautiful touch to the village. Why stop there, with the new signs, the village also added flower beds to the bases of the signs. They decorated those bases with rocks, flowers and wagon wheels. The signs are wonderful and the project turned out great! Good Job Val Marie.
