Ponteix was another one of our 2013 Community Beautification Winners. Their project was to build flower beds around the existing signs to the Town and to the Regional Park. The town employees built brick flower beds, and one of the town's residence donated flowers to go into the beds. Volunteers came together to transplant the flowers to their new homes and to water them. The project looks beautiful!! The flower beds add to the signs and it was a nice simple project that really makes a difference to the town. We presented Ponteix with a cheque for $350.00 towards the project.
