We visited the town of Stewart Valley on May 14th of this year to hear and see the project they are working on. The village is going to renevate the old fire hall to bring it back to life. When talking to them the plan is to do the building in tin, so it will last for quite a long time into the future. The bulk of the grant money will go towards the purchase of the tin and supplies. Community Futures Southwest was able to present them with a grant for $600.00 towards the project. The work will be done with the help of volunteers. We are excited to give them a hand if needed, and to see the finished project! Great choice Stewart Valley, I am sure it will benefit the whole community!!
