The Refresh Program has wrapped up for another year. Community Futures Southwest was excited by the number of applications we recieved for this year.
It makes it a very hard decision for us, as they are all so good! Community Economic Development is near and dear to our hearts. We love seeing the passion
from the people throughout the Southwest. We see creative ideas for projects, we see ideas to grow their communities, and we see projects that enhance the way of life for their villages; towns and hamlets. The best part of our job!!
This year we recieved 23 applications for 17 communities.I am proud to report we will be funding 13 projects for a total amount of $17,257.00. We would have like to fund them all!!
This year's winners for the 2019 Refresh Program are:
Hazlet ED Committee; Village of Webb' McLaren Lake Regional Park; Town of Gull Lake; Village of Abbey; Pambrun Community Coop; Town of Kyle; Town of Cabri; Prairie Community Association; RM of Clintworth; RM of Piapot; Village of Stewart Valley; and Simmie Rec Board.
