It is with great excitement that Infrastructure Canada kicked off the Smart Cities Challenge.
Across the country, communties large and small are bursting with new ideas. Through the Small Cities Challenge, Infrastructure Canada will help communities bring these ideas and plans to life, and find solutions that achieve real and positive outcomes.
The Smart Cities Challenge is a pan-Canadian competition open to communities of all sizes, including municipalities, regional governments and Indigenous communities (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) across Canada. The Challenge encourages communities to adopt a smart cities approach to improve the lives of their residents through innovation, data and connected technology.
