Are you an aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea, but need a little boost to bring it to life? The Side Hustle Program is here to help you turn your idea into a reality - step by step.
Designed for motivated individuals in the Northwest Community Futures region, this program provides a guided experience through six practical modules to help you build and launch your business. Best of all? Once you complete the program and submit proof of your business-related expenses, you’ll be eligible to receive $250 in Side Hustle Supports.
Side Hustle Support
Participants who complete the full program and provide proof of business-related expenses are eligible for:
- $250 in Side Hustle Support funding to support their business startup
Eligible expenses may include:
- Marketing & social media ads
- Website or e-commerce setup
- Business registration or licensing
- Supplies, tools, or materials
- Training or courses
- Branding or design support
- Funding cannot be used for multi-level marketing, direct sales, or to purchase an existing business.
What You'll Learn
The program includes six self-guided, interactive modules using Google Forms:
- The Set-Up – Registering your business & legal basics
- Your Ideal Customer – Identifying your market & building customer profiles
- Brand Fun – Colors, fonts, taglines, and logo creation
- Cash & Flow – Budgeting, startup costs, and pricing
- Point of Sale – Setting up payments, websites, and banking
- Be Strategic – Creating your pitch and building partnerships

To be eligible, you must:
- Reside within the Northwest Community Futures region
