Wendy Roche is a leader. As a hairstylist instructor at North West College for 9 years, Wendy guided students to achieve their dreams and launch their careers. In 2016, after the cosmetology course was discontinued, Wendy applied for employment insurance. She was referred to Northwest Community Futures for entrepreneurship training through the Self Employment Program offered jointly with the Government of Saskatchewan and Canada Saskatchewan Career & Employment Services. In less than four months, Wendy has taken her business from idea to reality, launching Roche Beauty Company with sleek branding and a newly renovated location offering hairstyling, tanning and esthetic services in North Battleford.
