Business of the Year Award

The North East Supported Employment Program is pleased to announce that the Quilly Willy Early Learning Childcare Centre of Porcupine Plain, SK is the recipient of their thirteenth annual Business of the Year Award. The Daycare has exceeded all award criteria, providing meaningful employment to people with a disability in the North East.

Over the last three years the Quilly Willy Early Learning Childcare Centre has hired and retained three participants from our program. They have two employees that job share a part time position and in the last year have hired a third participant in a part time position. They have been open and supportive in allowing us to provide job coaching, monitors and employment maintenance assistance to these employees. The Quilly Willy Childcare Centre and their management and staff deserve honorable recognition for providing a supportive, inclusive work place that removes barriers and provides employees with meaningful paid employment.

The Business of the Year Award is an annual award honouring a business in the North East region of Saskatchewan for their exemplary contribution toward providing meaningful community based paid employment to persons with disabilities.
