Entrepreneurs with Disabilities 

The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) helps people with disabilities or health conditions start or expand businesses in rural Saskatchewan. This program is open to anyone with a viable business idea who has a self declared disability or a health condition.

 

Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund 

The Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund is a partnership between the Government of Canada, Black-led business organizations, and several financial institutions. It will provide loans up to $250,000 to Black business owners and entrepreneurs across the country.

The Government of Canada has announced that the Loan Fund is accepting loan applications from Black business owners and entrepreneurs through the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE).

 

The AWESOME Program 

The AWESOME Accelerator will begin actively seeking applications in August for its second cohort, slated to run online from September to November 2021. Founders can apply now by visiting www.beawesome.ca/accelerator. The AWESOME Program provides business development services to Canadian women in food processing. AWESOME is supported by the Government of Canada (Western Economic Diversification) through the Women’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Fund.

 

Clarence Campeau Development Program

"The objective of the Fund is to stimulate economic development activities of Métis people and communities by providing equity for Métis businesses, supporting community economic development initiatives and developing management skills of new and existing Métis business owners and entrepreneurs. To achieve this, the Fund provides programs for start-ups, expansions, and to purchase existing businesses." To learn more, visit the Clarence Campeau website.
