START YOUR SIDE HUSTLE: GET FUNDED, GET GOING!
Are you an aspiring entrepreneur with a side hustle business idea but need a little boost to bring it to life? The Side Hustle Program is here to help. Designed for passionate, go-getter individuals in the Community Futures (CF) Mid-Sask region, this program offers up to $500 in non-repayable funds to launch a side business.
The $500 can be put towards critical costs such as social media and advertising, website and e-commerce development, bookkeeping support, capital purchases, labour costs, and training courses, or other expenses as approved by the Program Manager. Funds are not meant for direct sales, multi level marketing, or to go towards purchase price of an existing business. With monthly intakes September - November 2025, we’re ready to support you through every step. Seats are limited, so we encourage you to submit your application early!

Who Should Apply?
The Side Hustle Program is inclusive and encourages applications from all aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those who are individuals with disabilities, Indigenous, youth (15+), or newcomers to Canada. If you’re passionate about your side business idea and meet the following criteria, apply for this program:
- You’re a resident of the CF Mid-Sask region in Saskatchewan.
- You have an idea for a side business you’re eager to pursue and can provide a detailed application.
- You’re willing to complete the online “Intro to Side Hustle” learning modules to build your business knowledge and detail how you’ll use the Side Hustle $500 grant.

Destination Business
The Destination Business Program is set to roll out over the next two years in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Its primary objective is to empower small business owners by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to position themselves as compelling destinations within their respective industries and regions.

The Destination Business Program offers a comprehensive approach to help businesses become sought-after destinations. Participants will:
- Learn the Fundamentals: By enrolling in the Destination Creation Course to understand the core principles of becoming a destination business.
- Deep Dive into Game-Changing Business Topics: By attending monthly Connector Series sessions to explore transformative and trending business issues.
- Access One-on-One Guidance: By meeting with a Destination Coach to receive personalized assistance and insights, after completing the course.
- Build a Powerful Network: By collaborating with other like-minded destination business owners that have also taken part in the Destination Business Program.
This Program promises to equip business owners with the knowledge and resources needed to showcase their company's uniqueness and stand out in the crowded marketplace.
