For Immediate Release | Outlook, SK – March 20, 2023
Community Futures (CF) Mid-Sask is embarking on a new project this spring. The organization, which provides loans, advice and support to entrepreneurs throughout the region, is rolling out a business and community-wide survey. The Regional Survey 2023 will be used to gather input from business owners and communities that will help in the identification of challenges that they are faced with.
“The business environment has changed over the past few years,” said Lilah McIvor, General Manager for CF Mid-Sask. “Businesses have had to pivot and adapt and are facing challenges now that didn’t exist a few years back. Because of that, we are interested to learn more about the current issues that are affecting not only businesses, but the communities as well.”
The Regional Survey 2023 includes two surveys: a business survey and a community survey. “We strongly encourage both businesses and communities to participate in the survey and provide anonymous feedback,” said McIvor. “The results will provide us with the information we need to make informed decisions as it relates to improving existing services or developing new ones.”
The Business Survey, which is available to business owners or managers, is open until April 6, 2023. The survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/MidSaskBusiness. As for the community survey, municipal offices will be contacted directly via email by the Mid-Sask office.
“It’s important that our businesses and communities take the time to provide their feedback,” said McIvor. “Whether you are a business owner or manager, a Councillor or Administrator, your input is important to us.”
