In the fall of 2022, Community Futures (CF) Midsask embarked on a bold, new business training program to help the region’s destination businesses look at their marketing in a whole new and exciting light. It received raved reviews from participating business owners so CF Midsask is bringing it back to the area in spring 2023! Uncovering a businesses’ uniqueness and boosting a company’s marketing efforts . . . that’s the promise of the Destination Creation course. The course will be led by a certified Destination facilitator, and held virtually to accommodate the busy schedules of entrepreneurs in the region.

Traditionally, I think our clients see us as business lenders and seek our advice when they start, expand or even buy into a business. But we do a lot more for communities and businesses. This Destination Creation course helps our destination business sector to uncover their uniqueness, focus on what makes them so special and one-of-a-kind, and market their uniqueness to gain new customers and increase profits!”
