More than 40 communities in northern Saskatchewan have now benefitted from more than $52 million in lending from the Beaver River Community Futures Development Corporation, as announced today by General Manager Patty Shaw.
“Over its 27 years, the availability of the Beaver River Community Futures Business Loan Fund in the region has significantly impacted northern communities, Shaw said, “Our mission is to support various economic ventures and provide much-needed loans that otherwise may not have been secured through other traditional financial institutions. We’re very proud to have reached this major financial milestone.”
